From the perspective of specific companies, among the 10 joint ventures with output data from January to April, 4 have positive growth and 6 have negative growth.
Among them, FAW-Volkswagen and Beijing Hyundai saw the highest growth rates, mainly due to the high volume of Magotan GTE, Tanyue GTE, and Festa EVs.
The production of the two new energy models, the Shirui and the Concept VE-1, which were launched by Guangqi Honda, has fallen sharply compared with the same period last year. The overall output of the company has fallen by 100% year-on-year, the largest drop among joint ventures.
From the perspective of joint venture models, the top ten production models totaled 24,740, accounting for 81.31% of the total joint venture production. These models are basically best-selling models in the end market. Among them, the BMW 530Le has been ranked first in the production and sales of joint venture models in the first April of 2020.
From the perspective of battery suppliers, most of the batteries for new energy vehicles in joint ventures are supplied by the leading domestic power battery company Ningde Times, which accounts for 90.60% of the total installed capacity of power batteries in the joint venture, followed by Panasonic 5.17%.
